Vizio: an entry in the PC design

Earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas, the American Vizio, maker of televisions and Blu-ray players, unveiled its first line of future PC. Piece of portable and whose lines were familiar. A few iMac, MacBook Air a little, a touch of Magic Trackpad all coated aluminum. The Verge dedicated a portrait of this California-born 10 years ago, now just over 400 employees and who managed against all odds to climb to first place in sales of HDTVs in the U.S...

This is a virtual twin of the previous model that offers Apple MacBook Air with this 13 "version 2012. One year to another, the designers have made to the exterior of the machine and only minor changes that it sees only the AC power really evolve. The outline of this family remains the same since its birth in early 2008. Reading linear or cross?

Further pages of an ordinary place, as proposed conversion homothetic, we tried to imagine an architecture that makes it more rational reading a magazine. This resulted in what we call, for want of better, "read Cross": it scrolls horizontally between different items, and vertically to read the whole of a long subject. In practice, you move from one section to the next in "turning" the page of a finger, then one of them if you are interested in is a vertical gesture as you discover its sequel.
