- In the preview app open the PDF file that you need to edit
- Make sure you can see the thumbnails option on the side bar. If not just click on the sidebar and on the thumbnails options.
- You’ll then see a list of all the pages in the document.
- Go to the menu option and press on edit. From there go to the insert option and click on “Page from File”.
- The preview app will ask you to choose a PDF file. Navigate the folder till you find the required PDF file. Click on open.
- After these steps you’ll be able to see all the pages of the second folder added to the first PDF file. To confirm this you can check the page count at the bottom of the preview application.

- Open the required PDF files in two separate preview folders. Keep them side by side to work on.
- All you have to do now is to click and drag the required pages into the original PDF file. This you can do from the thumbnails section. Repeat the process till you have all the pages that you want in your original PDF file.
- Finally it’s onto saving the file. Simply go to the File section shown in the menu bar and click on “Export as PDF”. All you have to do now is to save the file under a name and choose a destination. Press save and you’re done.
