IOS 6 beta 4 is available free of YouTube [Update]

Apple released the fourth beta on 8-6-12 iOS 6, the mobile system will be available to the general public in the fall. This version is still reserved for developers and it is obtained from the settings of iPhone or iPad. Count 280 MB for an iPhone 4S, 260 MB for an iPhone 4 or the new iPad.

The Apple TV is also entitled to an update, as well as Xcode, the development tool offered by Apple which is version 4.5 DP4. This version must be retrieved from the Developer Center.

Apple's servers are a little trouble, take your troubles patiently ...

[Update 8/6/2012 @ 8:25 p.m.]: The first novelty of this beta is ... a failure. Apple has removed the YouTube application that had never been in any update since the release of the first iPhone. His loss should not bother many people, the web-app Google was better designed and more comprehensive, but it is a good symbol of the troubled relationship between the two companies (read: iOS 6: YouTube app will be replaced by Google ).

[Update 8/6/2012 @ 8:42 p.m.]: Apple has not changed again for all his cards, but we still mark changes and adjustments. On our traditional comparison, the changes are not very visible
At a higher zoom level, there are several sensible changes. The arrows indicate the direction of flow may be more muted in favor of street names more present and better prioritization. Large cities are also entitled to display the buildings that had previously been reserved for cities with 3D visualization. In Lyon and Paris in particular, help shape the most important buildings, although it has yet to settle for 2D. [Update 8/6/2012 @ 9:52 p.m.]: Lyon is in fact actually available in 3D! Pass in satellite mode and be patient to enjoy it, but it works. If anyone sees 3D in another French city, it makes us sign ... (thank you Cyril) [Update 6/8/2012 @ 9:34 p.m.]: Apple also added a setting of "small" for the font size in Maps. In this case, the texts are actually smaller, but still widely read.

In Security settings, iOS 6 beta 4 has a place to settings on access applications Twitter and Facebook. More interestingly, we note the appearance of a heading "Bluetooth Sharing". Inside, there is unsurprisingly a list, empty for now, of authorized applications.

Apple could add a feature requested by many since the first iPhone. It could be that this function uses the Bluetooth 4.0, which would then limit to the iPhone 4S, New iPad iOS and future terminals. [Update 06/08/2012 @ 11:15 p.m.]: the option is present on an iPhone 4, lacks Bluetooth 4.0. I believe from Apple, this function should work on any device IOS.

[Update 8/6/2012 @ 9:47 p.m.]: Some other minor new features identified in this beta ... The user must re-enter their username icloud first run. Settings in "Mail, Contacts, Calendars", we note the appearance of a new option to receive notifications of changes to a shared calendar.

The application Passbook remains as empty but it gains a link to the App Store. For now, this link leads to nothing, but it is assumed that there will be a category-specific functions for the final version.

[Update 06/08/2012 @ 10:02 p.m.]: settings "Cellular Network" are entitled to a new option named "Wi-Fi More Cellular". From the description, this option allows an application that has trouble with a WiFi network to automatically go on the 3G network (with practice networks FreeWiFi_Secure recalcitrant). The same menu also adds some options for using the telephone network, with the appearance of Passbook.

[Update 06/08/2012 @ 10:59 p.m.]: Apple is forcing the hand of its users on the email address of icloud accounts. The previous beta had added the ability to create address en@iCloud.com in beta 4 is automatically created and is one of possible addresses for IMessage and FaceTime. In this version, you can still choose to ignore this address. (Thank you Cyril)
